Come and join Tutbury Castle this July for an entertaining summer picnic!

This talk given by the Castle curator Lesley Smith is a rip-roaring journey through the sexual exploits of the Tudors. According to records it was not just Henry VIII

that was having a good time!

Contraception, prostitution and much more feature in this engaging and highly entertaining lecture.

Not suitable for those who shock easily, have a nervous disposition or for under 18s!

Guests will are welcomed to bring along their own packed lunch picnic to enjoy while watching the performance.


This event must be booked in advance and tickets are non-refundable.

The talk will take place in the castle grounds (weather dependant)

Guest should not arrive before 2pm as they will not be able to access the castle grounds or building before this time.
