Witch of Manningtree with Supper
Wednesday 30th October 2019
Arrive from 7pm for start time of 7.30pm | £23.50 per person
Enjoy a delicious evening meal followed by a haunting talk with the ‘Witch of Manningtree’ this Halloween.
The Witch of Manningtree performance is given by the Tutbury Castle curator Lesley Smith and is a dark story based on real events that took place in Suffolk, England. You should be prepared for scenes that are distressing and contain some violence. The history of witchcraft in England in the 17th Century is both gripping and fascinating as you will discover.
The meal will be served in the pretty tearoom at 7.30pm followed by dessert and tea or coffee. Following this you shall be taken up to the Great Hall where you begin the talk.
We ask that guests arrive no earlier than 7pm as you will not be available to have access before this time and be ready in the tearoom at 7.30pm as the buffet will be served promptly.
