Come along and meet the Jacobite’s at Tutbury Castle this Autumn!
Jacobite’s were supporters of the exiled Stuart King James II and his descendants after the “Glorious Revolution”. The Jacobite movement extended from 1688 until at least the 1750’s.
Although Tutbury Castle was in ruins by then it was still a particularly important royal castle.
Come and see members from this fantastic living history group, listen to talks on their equipment as well as a living history display. This event will take place outside, so we ask that suitable clothing and footwear is worn.
Our pretty tearoom will be open all day offering a selection of hot and cold refreshments.
This is an open air, COVID safe site and we ask that social distancing is adhered to and if you do not cooperate with the social distancing rules will we remain the right to ask you leave the premises without any refund.
