Jacobites at Tutbury Castle
Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th April
10.30am – 4pm
Jacobites were supporters of the exciled Stuart King James II and his descendants after the “Glorius Revolution”. The Jacobite movement extended from 1688 until at least the 1750’s.
Although Tutbury Castle was in ruins by then it was still a very important royal castle.
Come and see members from this fantasic living history group, listen to talks on their equipment
as well as a living history display.
The Great Hall will be open with a helpful guide onsite to answer any questions you may have and our pretty tearoom will be open all day offering a selection of hot and cold refreshments.
