Picnic and Talk with Nell Gywnne

Event arrival from 12.30pm, Talk at 1pm
Nell Gwynne was the mistress of Charles II. For many people, that is all she was known for – other than for selling oranges, but she was also a leading actress of the day. You will have a chance to meet pretty, witty little Nell in fantastic costume and have chance to both laugh and cry with her.
Tickets are £17.50pp and must be bought in advance. The picnic will be served after the talk.
The picnic will include:
A pre-ordered sandwich – please choose when booking ticket(s)
A packet of vegetable crisps
Mini cake bar
Piece of fruit
Bottle of orange juice
Tuna and Sweetcorn Mayonnaise
Cheese and Onion
All served on white bread
When ordering your ticket please choose your sandwich choice. If you have any dietary requirements, please book your ticket online then call the office on 01283 812 129 to discuss this. Any dietary requirements must be discussed in advance of the event, as without prior notice, we will not be able to cater for you on the day.
Event arrival starts at 12.30pm therefore, we ask that you do not arrive before this time. The event may take place in either the Great Hall or the Marquee, (depending on ticket sales) and you will be advised of where the event is taking place on arrival. Please bring your booking registration with you.
