Talk with Nell Gwynne

12:30pm arrival for a 1pm start
Nell Gwynne was the mistress of Charles II. For many people, that is all she was known for – other than for selling oranges, but she was also a leading actress of the day. You will have a chance to meet pretty, witty little Nell in fantastic costume and have chance to both laugh and cry with her.
Tickets are £17.50pp and must be bought in advance.
The cream tea will include:
Two fresh fruit scones
Selection of Jams
A choice of Tea or Coffee.
On arrival, please drive all the way round to the main castle building and please wait in your car until a member of staff is ready to escort you from your car – for COVID-19 safety reasons. You will be asked for your track and trace details and then you will be seated within your group. You will be seated 2 metres away from other guests. Facemasks must always be worn during the performance. Failure to do may result in you being asked to leave. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, please ensure you call the castle beforehand. The Cream Tea will be served after the performance in the tearoom, however if you wish to sit on the patio, you may. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before the start time as you will not have access to the building. You will be only able to book in groups of 6 at present. Please do contact the castle office if you have any dietary requirements as, without prior notice we will not be able to cater for you on the day.
